Strategy and Tactics - Command Units

Take Command Unit EVERY time it is available. That bonus action will make or break you. Learn to use it wisely.
Use the bonus action to move from blocked LOS, fire, then move back out of LOS. (munchie) Works wonders with tanks at long range.
Keep your commanders safely out of harms way in the back or within a building. To get the bonus, the commander/radioman simply have to be on the board, not necessarily doing anything. Keep an APC handy in case you need to pick them up and transport them out of harms way in a hurry.
Use your bonus action to accelerate your troops into flanking positions.
Consider using the bonus in conjunction with a charge. Shoot and suppress the enemy or eat their reaction shot. Then Move and Charge or Charge twice and crush the enemy.
